About: Hi there, I’m Victoria. I’m a lifelong artist and creator with a love of the unusual. I have an MFA in design and have been the last 14+ years working in advertising. I created Draft Paper Co., a stationery & greeting card company to provide folks with inspiring, inclusive, unique sentiments that you can’t find elsewhere. My work ranges from sentimental to sassy and it all comes from my weird artist brain.
What I love to create: I love creating, period. I’ve tried a wide variety of mediums and techniques and I am always looking to incorporate more into my work. I create my art/products through a combination of traditional media (watercolor, markers/ink) and digital (procreate) and print on high quality cardstock. Currently I make greeting cards, art prints, notepads, stickers and more. Lately I’ve been exploring printmaking and enjoy the peaceful vibes from carving my art and the reveal once it’s inked and printed.
My inspiration? Why I make? I am inspired by the unseen and under-celebrated. I also enjoy bringing inspiration to others (and even myself) through my art. Many of my designs are specifically about encouragement and acceptance and I try to uplift with my work. I try to communicate with humor and leave people smiling or giggling at my art. I do this because it’s what I feel called to do and it allows me express other things I’m passionate about within my art and my message.
