About: I am an engineer, but have always had an artistic side. I like to produce art through wood. I enjoy the wood lathe most of all,but also like to change things up with by using other tools to make charcuterie boards and vases. I started doing shows last year and they have gone very well.I also enjoy spending time up north with my family. I enjoy working in my garden and playing with my dogs.
What I love to create: I primarily use a wood lathe to turn bowls, vases, candle holders, Christmas trees, snowmen, rings, ring holder, wooden ring boxes etc. I make charcuterie boards, wooden cake knives and I repurpose wooden antique levels into coat, hat or keyring hangers. I use local wood from the area and wood from items being disposed of. I enjoy a challenge and am always looking for a new adventure in woodworking.
My inspiration? Why I make? I always liked to work with wood. I like antiques and how ornate everyday items used to be made. The fancy woodwork always fascinated me. I just want to create items like that. I like that each item I make is unique and it makes me happy that people want to have it. It's fun to do, too.
