About: I'm a mixed media artist, avid reader, mom of two, and extremely passionate about art. I'm the Artist Relations Director at the Guild of Artists & Artisans. My greatest joy in my job is working with Emerging Artists and helping them learn how to make a living doing what they love.
What I love to create: I love to create mixed media paintings and sculptural pieces. I use acrylic paint, gouache, oil pastels, air dry clay, canvases, wooden cubes and reclaimed wood pieces and architectural finds. My focus is building of texture and emotions.
My inspiration? Why I make? Art feeds my soul. My inspiration is color, the world around me, shapes, and human expression. Creating art is taking a piece of yourself and putting it out for the world to see. It's the connections you make with others when they react to your work. It's the friendships I've created. Art is life.
