About: I run an art collective called The Jumble. We are local to the Ypsi-Ann-Arbor area. We got started about a year ago, with myself and four other artists that I know. We've since gained another member and started a website to showcase our art, handmade jewelry, and hand-quilted items
What we love to create: Many of us paint with acrylics or watercolors. We also have a quilter, a jewelry maker, and welcome any other types of artists.
Our inspiration? Why we make? We all love to create art. I wanted to be part of a community centered around art, so I started the collective and used my business knowledge to create a platform that would help us all kick off our art careers. We all love learning more about art and have so many ideas for what we can do to inspire each other and our communities to grow. We also care about the environment so we work to do our art in ways that reduce our impact on the planet.
