About: I live in Macedon, NY with my SO, our 2 dogs and a cat who thinks she's a dog, but I'm originally from Michigan. I make wearable art, I garden, I collect old prints of hummingbirds and I own a cleaning business. I love metal and glass and color and objects. Putting things together, working with my hands, fabricating, sewing, gardening, building even cleaning... it's all very satisfying to me; purposeful and creative. Master's of Fine Arts, Alfred University, NYS College of Ceramics, School of Art and Design Bachelor's of Fine Arts, Siena Heights University
What I love to create: I make jewelry. These days I work a lot with wire and beads. I still fabricate and cast pieces when I can find time for it. I love fine metals The great thing about working with beads and wire is that I can work faster and make more. I genuinely strive to make unique pieces that are affordable for everyone while still special and one of a kind. Everyone deserves to have things of beauty around them, things that bring them joy and make them smile. Art is for everyone.
My inspiration? Why I make? Nature. Architecture. Fashion. Music. Films. I guess most of my inspiration comes from other art forms and other artists. I just like making things with my hands... have I mentioned gardening and cooking yet? To transfer something from your heart to your hands is a powerful and wonderful feeling... no one can take it from you. I like making pretty things. It can really be that simple sometimes.
