About: I am an artist and live in live in Traverse City, Michigan. I paint landscapes of sunsets and sunrises on wood that has been treated so that the grain is raised which creates the drawing for my paintings. My photos of sunsets in Traverse City and my travels become my color schemes for my paintings.
What I love to create: I love to use painting and drawing to record subjects in nature. Sunrises and sunsets give me the opportunity to observe the colors in the sky and water and how they interact, reflect, and change so subtly.
My inspiration? Why I make? Painting and drawing has always been my passion and when I can create a painting or drawing that depicts what I see in a scene I feel fulfilled.
