About: I'm Alex, I'm a wife and mama to two crazy boys. I love plants, craft beers, gardening, but my passion is creating crafts of all types!
My love for macrame started back in 2020 with plant hangers and has expended to many other facets of macrame, from shelves to keychains. After my wedding last year I had decided it was time to start sharing my love for macrame, and my hope is to continue to bringing my creative love of macrame art to the surrounding communities.
What I love to create: I love to create macrame art, wall hangings, shelves, coasters, keychains, market bags, and towel holders. I like to use most natural cord, but also some colored cord. I like to try and use as many sustainable materials as possible, including recycled cotton cord and wood from my families land.
My inspiration? Why I make? A lot of my inspiration comes from my friends and family. I like to create with what I’m feeling and try not to base any specific piece on anything particular. My hope is to continue to create and share my love for macrame with as many people as I can. I’m hoping to build a business my kids can be proud of, and I hope to show people that macrame is not just old 70’s trend.
