unLEASH the unFAIR
The PLYMOUTH unFAIR is a conduit to support creative communities. When covid-19 ravaged our lives in 2020 and the stay at home, stay safe guidelines were in place. Free time was abundant! Some folks built gardens, made home improvements or sought solace in their creative talents to pass the time.
As artsy next-door neighbors and idea generators, Erin and Carol refocused their energy towards their passions. We knew we weren't the only creative people utilizing the gift of time to cultivate our creativity. Life before covid was hectic and making time for our art, was always put on the back burner. Furthermore, covid presented some unfair life changing circumstances for many and pivoting to utilize our lifelong professional talents to encourage and inspire fellow artisans, made sense. So, we conspired on the unFAIR, an organic gathering of local artisans, makers and cottage industries. Our community is beaming with untapped talent. Many might call it a hobby, but art is therapeutic for those who create with their hands, hearts and minds. Large established art fairs are pricey and overwhelming for beginner creative folks, trying to break out.
Our goal is to create meaningful exposure and a low barrier to entry for our community of creators. It's the neighborly thing to do and collectively, we can inspire confidence in others to take a chance.

Last year 80% of our participants were 1st-time exhibitors in any public event, and 100% of participants felt it helped increase their wellbeing and creativity.
The Plymouth UNfair, is in its third year, and we would appreciate your support to help grow this critical model we hope to expand to communities everywhere.
